Drive technology, unaffected by load & own movement

Depending on the application, the OMEGA drive is attached to the load to be moved and then pulls it along the round steel chain or moves it from a different location. In contrast to chain drives, the system is completely unaffected by natural movements of the ground or the load due to thermal expansion and contraction as well as torsion - the round steel chain compensates for such deviations. Compared to rack and pinion and sprocket solutions, OMEGA DRIVE drive technology is less sensitive to dirt, sand, ice, etc. The electromechanical drives are easier to install and tolerate misalignments. The modular concept allows the drive to be powered by electric, hydraulic or pneumatic motors. The OMEGA DRIVE drive can also be ordered including electric motor as a complete system / overall concept.
